Claripulse (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the claripulse.com website and dashboard. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account information: email address, display name, company, and role when you create an account.
- Email list: email address when you join our waitlist or subscribe to our digest.
- Contact form: name, email, subject, and message when you reach out through our support form.
- Preferences: device watchlist selections and dashboard settings.
Information Collected Automatically
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, referral source, browser type, and general geographic region. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique users. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Log data: our servers automatically record information such as your IP address, request timestamps, and HTTP headers when you access the service.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Claripulse service.
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- To send you product updates, safety signal digests, and marketing communications you have opted into. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve site performance.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate Claripulse. These providers only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function on our behalf.
- Supabase: database hosting and user authentication (stores account data, preferences, and application data).
- Google Analytics: anonymized website usage analytics.
- Resend: transactional and marketing email delivery (receives your email address and email content).
FDA MAUDE Data
Claripulse analyzes publicly available FDA MAUDE (Manufacturer and User Facility Device Experience) adverse event data. This data is de-identified by the FDA before publication. We do not collect, store, or process any protected health information (PHI) or personally identifiable information (PII) from MAUDE reports. We do not attempt to re-identify any individuals from this data.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Email subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe, at which point your email is marked inactive but kept for suppression purposes to prevent re-enrollment. Contact form submissions are retained for up to one year.
Data Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Account passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. Database access is restricted by role-based access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know: request a summary of the personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to delete: request deletion of your personal information.
- Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out: opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of your data, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Children's Privacy
Claripulse is intended for use by professionals in the medical device industry. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website prior to the change becoming effective. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
